Welcome to Origami Basanta Bahar 2026! As we embrace the vibrant spirit of Bohag, we invite the creative minds and radiant smiles of Assam to come together in a grand celebration of art, heritage, and community.

We believe art is the purest form of expression, and our cultural roots are our greatest pride.

Whether it is bringing imaginations to life on a canvas or showcasing the breathtaking diversity of Assam’s traditional attire, this event is designed to nurture talent, celebrate innocence, and honor the mentors who guide them.

Every participant is a star, and we are here to ensure no one walks away without feeling celebrated!

General Guidelines, Rules, and Regulations

  • Hues of Bohag (Online Drawing Competition):

    A canvas to capture the colors of spring and Assam's cultural heartbeat.
  • Heritage in Smiles (Kids' Ethnic Modeling Photo Contest):

    A celebration of Assam's diverse cultural heritage by showcasing children in authentic traditional attire.
  • Awards and Recognition:

    Every participant is a star! All entrants will receive a guaranteed Digital Certificate of Participation and a ₹1,500 Creative Encouragement Voucher. Our category champions will take home a share of a ₹60,000 cash prize pool, along with trophies and Certificates of Excellence. Furthermore, the mentors and photographers behind the winning entries, as well as the top 10 schools with the highest student participation, will be honored with special awards.
  • General Eligibility:

    The event is open to anyone currently residing in or originating from Assam. A single participant may submit a maximum of three (3) entries in one category. However, only one (1) submission per participant will be eligible for winning a position, certification, and the guaranteed participant rewards.
  • Hues of Bohag (Online Drawing Competition):

    Open to students from Nursery and above, as well as adults!

    • Group A: Nursery to Class 1
    • Group B: Class 2 to Class 4
    • Group C: Class 5 to Class 7
    • Group D (Open Canvas): Class 8 & above (Open to all ages and adults)
  • Heritage in Smiles (Kids' Ethnic Modeling Photo Contest):

    • Radiant Rupohis (Girls): Nursery to Class 7
    • Dashing Dekas (Boys): Nursery to Class 7

  • Where do you submit your entries?

    Participation is completely digital and hassle-free. All registrations, image uploads, and voting take place exclusively through either of our official portals:

    (Please note: Offline submissions or direct entries sent via WhatsApp or social media messaging will not be accepted.)

  • Step 1 – Visit the Portal:

    Log on to either of our official portals (www.origamicreativeevents.com or www.origamibasantabahar.com), navigate to the registration page, and log in using your email or Google account.
  • Step 2 – Enter Details:

    Fill out the official registration form with the participant’s details, school name, and the mentor's or photographer’s information.
  • Step 3 – Upload Your Entry:

    Upload a clear, high-resolution photograph of the drawing or the child in traditional attire. Ensure the file size is strictly between 1MB and 10MB, and the image is completely free of any watermarks or text.
  • Step 4 – Make Payment:

    Pay the ₹150/- registration fee per entry via our secure online payment gateway. You will receive an instant confirmation via WhatsApp and Email.
  • Step 5 – Gather the Love (Vote):

    Once your entry goes live (within 24 hours of submission), find it in the Participants Gallery. Share your unique link with friends and family to invite your community to vote!
  • Originality Declaration:

    By submitting an entry, the participant/guardian legally confirms that the work is entirely original and belongs to the participant.
  • Copyright & Usage Rights:

    The original creator retains all copyrights to their work. However, by submitting an entry, the participant grants the organisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to display, publish, and promote the artwork/photograph on our websites, social media platforms, and future marketing materials.
  • Organizer's Discretion:

    The organizers reserve the right to amend guidelines, extend deadlines, or adjust the prize structure if necessary. In case of any disputes, the decision of the Origami Basanta Bahar 2026 organizing committee shall be final and binding.

Hues of Bohag (Online Drawing Competition) Artwork Guidelines & Specifications

Allowed Mediums:

Any manual, traditional medium is welcome! Let the creativity flow using crayons, oil pastels, watercolors, color pencils, or acrylics.

Prohibited Mediums:

Digital art, 3D renders, and AI-generated artwork are strictly prohibited. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification and the revocation of any winning titles or awards.

Paper Size:

We highly recommend using standard A4 or A3 size drawing paper.

Orientation:

Both Landscape and Portrait orientations are fully accepted.

Image Quality:

Please submit a clear, well-lit, top-down photograph or a high-quality scan of the artwork. Ensure the image is focused and completely free of shadows, glare, or background clutter.

Format & Size:

JPEG or PNG only. File size must be between 1MB and 10MB.

70/30 Scoring Blend
The final score is a blend of 70% Expert Judges' Evaluation and 30% Public Website Voting.
Judging Transparency
Our respected panel of art professionals will evaluate submissions anonymously based on creativity, original interpretation of the theme, color composition, and overall visual impact.

Likes and comments on social media platforms will NOT be counted as votes.

The Subject:

The child is the primary participant being judged in this modeling contest.

Authenticity:

The child’s attire must respectfully represent a recognized community within Assam.

Editing Limits:

Basic adjustments (brightness, contrast, cropping, basic colour correction) are allowed. Heavy manipulation, replacing backgrounds digitally, heavy filters, or AI-generated enhancements are strictly forbidden.

Image Quality:

Photos must be high resolution (Minimum 2MB, maximum 10MB), clearly showing the child's face, expressions, and the details of the traditional attire.

Orientation:

Both Landscape and Portrait orientations are fully accepted.

Voting Mechanics: Fair Play, Security & Anti-Bot Voting Rules

Verification:

To ensure fairness, voting is strictly monitored. Each individual is allowed only one vote per verified Email/IP address per participant.

Zero Tolerance for Manipulation:

The use of automated bots, click-farms, temporary/fake email generators, or paid voting services is strictly prohibited.

Protection Against Sabotage (Vote Purging):

We understand that malicious actors might try to sabotage leading entries by sending them fake votes. Therefore, if our security systems detect suspicious voting patterns on an entry, the entry will NOT be automatically disqualified. Instead, all identified fraudulent votes will be permanently deducted from the participant's final tally without prior notice.

Disqualification Clause:

An entry will only be completely disqualified if the organizing committee finds conclusive evidence that the participant (or their guardians/representatives) intentionally orchestrated the fraudulent voting.
